Yes and no

‘The Dilemma of the Pakistani Left’

I just read a guest post on Tazeen’s blog, which has blown my mind away. We need more people like Haider Shah speaking truth to power, or I should say, speaking truth to crazy communists and the evil Taliban.

The Dilemma of the Pakistani Left

I do not think the communists are genuinely evil, in most circumstances. They’re just very misguided, extremely hateful, and sometimes even nihilistic. If you read Marx’s work, for example, it has a distinct lack of clarity, and something of an upside-down quality. It smacks of the value-inversion characteristic of ressentiment, and of a muddled head that can’t produce a coherent argument.

The Taliban, however, are genuinely evil. They’re demonic, and the upside-down communists cannot see that fact. They aid and abet, and rhetorically facilitate these Satanic creatures, all because of a vicious, blind hatred toward the United States of America. Their ressentiment blinds them, their destructive need to deconstruct everything and turn it upside makes them unable to make elementary moral distinctions.

I hate to agree with Hitler, but you just don’t argue with Marxists.

Since I’m on this topic already, I should mention that I believe the secular, liberal Pakistanis should make their voices heard. Some of them — the very wealthy ones, in my experience — waste their time clubbing and taking drugs, thus withholding their contribution to a country that needs liberalism more than anything else. However, many others are sober, decent people who have started speaking out in greater numbers. It is these people — the Secular Pakistanis — who should organize both against communism and against Islamism. What do you say?

A highly recommended documentary on the Dalit foundation, that works to uplift the Dalits, the lowest caste in India.

Uninhibited Post of the Year

I’m going to say it, regardless of what The Girlfriend or anybody else might have to say. I am angry, very angry, having seen the photo of a person who wronged me in the past, and whose mother wronged me even more. This is the story of them, with names and all.

The mother’s name is Naznin Murtaza. She runs a school in Pakistan named Headstart School Islamabad. Besides the school being a complete and utter hellhole, a den of thieves of the worst kind, it is run by a woman with severe psychological problems. Naznin Murtaza is a control freak, someone who treats others as limbs sprouting out of her own bloated body. Her husband has a permanently frozen face, frozen in fear, with a smile and bulging eyes that cannot obscure the unhappiness of this poor, emasculated man. She expels people at will, appoints people to student council positions rather than allowing elections to take place; makes rules as she goes along, and is unrestrained by any institution or person. She is also unrestrained by anything resembling a conscience.

During my time there, she would periodically place her psychopathologies on display in grotesque exhibitions of post-colonial insecurity, bullying, and a neurotic need to control everyone and everything around her. She would gather everybody in assemblies created ad hoc (like all her rules and policies) for the sole purpose of trying to drill into us how completely and utterly pathetic we were, seeing as we hadn’t won any Nobel prizes yet. Bloating ever more from sheer self-congratulation and narcissism, she would tell the girls they were whores and sluts, because they had been harassed by men. No, there’s nothing wrong with systemic patriarchy or violence against women, it’s not worth mentioning that male harassment and assault are used as ways of controlling women and monopolizing the public space; no, us girls brought it upon ourselves by wearing T-shirts! Other times, she would call out the one White person in the school to stand before the assembly, praise him to the skies despite his grades being average, and his extra-curricular activities being the usual amount, to tell us to imitate him (by bleaching our skin? I’m sure that would satisfy at least one of her perverse fetishes).

There were no rules in this school. Everything happened according to the ad hoc judgment of this crazy bitch, with occasional input from other neurotic and hysterical women. After a series of events where I came to realize more clearly how deep her depravity ran, my parents withdrew my brother and me from the school. However, this incident has made me realize how much injustice people get away with in Pakistan.

And Nadine Murtaza… well, let’s just say it’s like the case of the psychopathic mother chimpanzee whose daughter temporarily came under her shadow, until of course, the mother died*.

Anyway, my experience with that school made me realize that Pakistan is a country inhabited by pusillanimous, amoral and nihilistic pieces of garbage (with some exceptions, and those are generally among the Westernized). Pakistan deserves its suicide attacks, its drone attacks, and its inflation. The wages of sin is death, and the case of Pakistan demonstrates this perfectly.

Continue in your depravity, your disgusting elitism and nepotism, and watch how everything you hold dear crumbles around you. Continue to take bribes, steal money, and murder one another, and watch how your food and water dry out. Continue sacrificing animals to satisfy your lust, leaving the entrails of slaughtered innocents on the streets you filled with their blood. Keep beating children, blaming girls for the assaults they suffer, burning your wives and decapitating poor police officers. Keep doing it. When you live in the age of the darkness you created, you will have gotten your just desserts.

Sigh… May God forgive me for my wrath.

Is Jesus the ‘Psychic Being’?

I do believe Jesus really existed. At the same time I can see how descriptions of him fit the characteristics of the psychic being, aka the soul. The best way I can think of to reconcile these two things, is that Jesus was an incarnation of God, and the psychic being is of the same stuff as God (the Divine spark, as it is sometimes called). Hence, the resemblance.

Here are some words and images that depict Jesus that seem to depict the psychic being as well:

- The image of the virgin Mary holding baby Jesus lovingly. The psychic being is also a child, or a baby of sorts, and during my experience I (i.e. my soul) felt loved and embraced by [the immanent aspect of] God, who in retrospect felt like a maternal or feminine force (hence the feminine form of the words ‘Shekhina’ and ‘Shakti’, both of which depict that very Force; in fact it is sometimes called The Mother). There is actually no gender at that level of reality, so it’s anthropomorphic to depict Him/Her as a woman, but I can see how the image of a mother would be a better depiction of said Force than the image of a father, given the cultural associations with mothers compared to fathers.

- ‘I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the father but by me.’ If this is the psychic being talking, it is entirely accurate.

- In the song Silent Night, Jesus is referred to as a ‘Holy infant, so tender and mild.’ The psychic being definitely feels like a holy infant, though it is not exactly mild. It is rather intense, actually. But the ‘Holy infant’ part fits perfectly.

This is Very Accurate

What Mythical Creature are you?
Your Result: Nymph

Nymphs are known for being extraordinarily beautiful. Unlike other mythical creatures, Nymphs are completely unselfish and do not always realize their beauty. Because of this naivette, they are easily taken advantage of. Nymphs are quite innocent and devoted. They have one main passion in life, and devote themselves to it. As a Nymph, you are pure of heart, playful, and very free spirited.

Unfortunately the word ‘Nymph’ has become associated with ‘nymphomania’. That is very unfortunate, indeed, given how much I value chastity.
