Silent Night

Silent night
Night of God’s son
Soundly in slumber
The pair together
The pair and love
Watching with affection
The small bright beautiful child
Darling little one
Christ, calmly asleep.

Even though I am a follower of the Integral Yoga, Biblical and especially Christian symbolism has special spiritual significance for me. During one of my spiritual experiences, an image of Jerusalem flashed in my mind. I would write more about this, but I am tense about applying to graduate programs. All of the religion programs require a Bachelor’s degree in religious studies, which I do not have. Will update on the grad school situation later.
